TOWNSHIP OF HILL

NOTICE OF BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

The Hill Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2025-26 at 4985 Townhall Road, Hale, on March 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., following will be a special meeting to adopt the budget at 5:30 p.m. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.  A copy of the budget is available for public inspection by appointment, call 989-889-6115.

This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72a (2) (3) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The Hill Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 7 day's notice to the Hill Township Board.

TO THE PROPERTY OWNERS OF HILL TOWNSHIP, OGEMAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN

Please take notice that the 2026 March Board of Review will meet at the HILL TOWNSHIP HALL 4985 TOWNHALL ROAD, HALE, MI to review the assessment roll for 2026.

Meeting Dates and Times:

MONDAY MARCH 9, 2026 9:00 AM - NOON, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

TUESDAY MARCH 10, 2026 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Appointments:

Appointments are not necessary.

Protest Procedures:

Letters of protest must be received by 3/4/2026 to be heard by the Board of Review.

Property owners may appeal in person or by authorized representative.
